What This Position Is All About:

 

We are looking for an IT Security Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our security programs. IT Security Technical Writer prepare instruction manuals, journal articles, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily. They also develop, gather, and disseminate technical information among stakeholders. IT Security Technical writer will join a team of Governance, Risk and Compliance who work on policies, procedures, Auditing and reporting.

 

You also have:

 
  • A degree in Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or related.
  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software/Infrastructure/Security documentation
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text, charts and pictures
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic familiarity with IT Security
 

As the Senior Analyst, Technical Writer, you will:

 
 
  • Responsible for developing strong IT Security Metrics for HBC, providing clear visibility into the risk landscape, risk management, degree of confidence in Security controls and Security programs (KRI/KPI/KCI).
  • Build required documentation for information security audits, whether by performed by organization or third-party personnel
  • Produce documents for internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness documents
  • Responsible producing all Vendor Technology Risk related documents with the help of GRC team.
  • Produce high-quality IT Security documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of security applications
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
  • Create and maintain the information architecture
  • Good understand of NIST Cyber Security Framework functional areas ? not a mandate
  • Provide information security awareness training to organization personnel
