What This Position Is All About:

The Manager - Integration Services is responsible for the service, technical and people management of the Middleware & Integration infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be the service owner for key technologies and platforms including IBM Integration Bus, Kafka, Informatica (BDM or Power Center), Apache/Nginx, Tomcat, WebLogic, Sqoop, Spark, Hive tools and other related open source technologies.

 

The candidate should possess relevant experience in managing a Middleware Infrastructure team and/or complex multi-resource middleware projects.

  • You have great analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • You're comfortable working in a fast & dynamic, constantly evolving organization
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills to present /liaise with all levels of stakeholders
You also have:
  • Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or any IT related field.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years? experience in middleware & integration technologies
  • At least 2-4 years? experience in managing small to medium sized teams
  • Experience working in agile development environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of related infrastructure domains. E.g. Operating Systems, application servers, database
  • Previous Retail, Finance & Merchandising systems experience is an advantage

As the Manager Integration Support, you will:

  • Ensure the 24x7 operation of Middleware services and supporting technologies
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Middleware team members
  • Coach and mentor members of the team on career related aspects
  • Partner with a global team of technical experts and drive the design and implementation of solutions
  • Represent the team during any high impact incidents and through the problem review process
  • Work on developing and monitoring data quality metrics and ensure business data, process documentation and reporting needs are met
  • Define principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise?s future-state architecture vision
  • Maintain stability and reliability of platforms to established SLAs
  • Review ETL performance and conduct performance tuning as required on mappings / workflows or SQL
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on driving local and global programs
