What This Position is All About

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for supporting the Benefits Manager with the administration of a wide variety of employee benefits, policies and programs for HBC.

  • You are skilled in Oracle HRIS & reporting
You also have:
  • 3 - 6 years of Human Resources experience, ideally with emphasis in Benefits
  • Administration of the HBC Benefit and Discount Programs, providing timely customer service to HR Representatives, Regional HR Managers and Associates
  • Administration of Absence Management Programs, specifically Short Term Absence and Long Term Disability, including claims facilitation between stores/offices and third party vendors 
  • Ensures the integrity of data in the payroll and benefit administration systems
  • Provide support to the Department on the implementation and communication of policies, programs and procedures, and training
  • Support HR initiatives and related projects as required

  •  Ability to meet tight timelines while ensuring accuracy

  •  Strong PC skills, including Excel and Word 
  •  Effective communicator 
  •  Bilingualism is an asset
