What This Position is All About:


The Senior Analyst - Payroll Systems is responsible for the support of the existing and development of new fully integrated business solutions and/or the integration of legacy systems and other acquired software packages in the area of HR / Financial applications.


Working on support in production and lower environments, enhancements and modifications to the existing legacy systems and/or development for the new projects of various sizes and complexities, you will implement all the required application changes through analysis, design, testing, documentation and training.

You Also Have:
  • Computer Science Degree, or equivalent.
  • 4 to 7 years of Experience in Oracle EBS r12.1 and HCM Cloud release 19 and above
  • Experience with US and Canadian HR/Payroll Legislations
  • Support Payroll run processes and flows
  • Write and troubleshoot Fast Formulas (Mandatory)
  • Understanding of SDLC methodology; Full lifecycle implementation experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Google tools such as Gmail, Google Documents, and Google Drive.
  • CST/EST flexibility for the first couple of months.
  • Prior experience working with a retail client is a plus.
  • Understanding of the financial process requirements at month-end/quarter-end for closing of the financial books. Including accounts payable Invoice processing.
  • Experience in Infor WFM Time and Attendance is a huge asset.
  • Experience working in (Azure) cloud environment
As The Analyst, You Will:
  • At least 4 to 7 years of experience in Oracle EBS r12.1 and HCM Cloud release 19 and above.
  • Experience in Payroll module and combination of other modules such as HR, Benefits, and Absences Management. (Talent Management, Learning and Recruiting NICE TO HAVE)
  • Experience with US and Canadian HR/Payroll Legislations
  • Support Payroll run processes and flows.
  • Identify business requirements and map them to the Oracle EBS / HCM Cloud functionality         
  • Configure and document new requirements in Oracle EBS / HCM Cloud Applications
  • Identify functionality gaps in Oracle EBS / HCM Cloud and provide solutions
  • Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
  • Write and troubleshoot Fast Formulas / Pay Elements (huge asset)
  • Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions.
  • Effectively communicate with Payroll team and support them
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
  • Managing Oracle support service requests
