What This Position Is All About:

The Store Applications Support Analyst ensures the seamless operation of retail store systems,

focusing on Toshiba POS environments and peripherals like POS, Payments, Pinpads, Printers

and scanners. This role involves troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and maintaining SLAs to

minimize downtime in a 24/7 retail environment. The Specialist collaborates with cross-

functional teams to improve processes, documentation, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.

With a strong understanding of retail systems, analytical skills, and technical expertise in

Windows, IBM4690, Linux, and scripting languages, the role supports operational continuity and

enhances system efficiency to ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will

bring exposure to retail industry operations, robust knowledge of store application architecture,

and the ability to adapt to new technologies. Their expertise will enable them to contribute to

business success by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of store applications and systems.

Who You Are:

 Possess strong ownership of retail store system support with a focus on ensuring the

uptime and smooth operation of Toshiba POS environments, payments and peripheral

devices such as pin pads, Scanners and Printers.

 Collaborate with end-users, IT teams, and cross-functional departments to resolve

incidents, enhance system performance, and maintain SLAs.

 Skilled in analyzing and resolving reconciliation issues, monitoring alerts, and performing

critical role-swap activities such as LDR in a multinode store controller setup.

 Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and supporting store application technologies,

including Windows, IBM4690, Linux, and scripting languages like Python, Shell, and

Java.

 Proactively identify and address system inefficiencies, develop and refine processes,

and ensure proper documentation of runbooks, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.

 Adapt quickly under pressure to deliver time-sensitive solutions and provide effective

workarounds to minimize business downtime.

 Committed to continuous improvement, maintaining a sense of urgency, and ensuring

operational efficiency in a 24/7 retail environment.

As the Store System Analyst, you will have:

● Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of retail Store Support experience.

● Understanding of Point of Sale, Payments in retail Stores environment.

● Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

● Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills

● Experience in Handling Payment Support will be an added advantage.
